Mark 11: 25-26 (YouVersion) |
Beloved, it is very important that we pay attention to details when it comes to our relationship with God. One the things that can create 'unanswered prayers' for a child of God is unforgiveness. The Bible specifically warned us in the above verses to forgive others so God can forgive us. Since nobody is without sin, it means that we have done something we need God to forgive us for, likewise, we also ought to forgive others quickly. Unforgiveness is a load you don't want to carry, it is too much of a burden to bear. If somebody did something to you so badly that you can't forgive, then ask the Lord Jesus to help you forgive the person. Ask Him to take away the pain, the anger and hurt from your soul. Release the hurt to Jesus and say out loud, "I forgive (name) in Jesus name!" As many times as the devil reminds you of what the person did, make sure you announce that you forgive them. Soon enough, you will find the atmosphere of hate, anger, pain will be lifted from your spirit and you will feel God's love surround you totally.
Never let anger, bitterness, hate, stop you from having your prayer answered, don't let it prevent you from enjoying God's grace in your life.
For further study please read Matthew 18 verse 21-35, also read 1st Corinthians 13:1-end and 1st John chapter 4: 1-end. Remember, the more of God's Word you know, the more you become what you know.
God Bless You.
